Domenica Calarco has opened up about the struggles of pregnancy in a candid video.

The former MAFS bride, 31, took to Instagram this week to announce she's officially 19 weeks pregnant – and didn't hold back when it came to revealing just how tough the journey has been so far.

'I've been trying to find the words,' she began in her video, so I filmed a video instead,' she began.

'I've accepted the fact that I'm not one of those women that's going to be a poster child for pregnancy.'

Wearing a relaxed top with her hair swept up in a no-fuss bun, she candidly admitted the past few months have been anything but glamorous.

'Amongst the health issues and the added relationship struggles, the last [few months]… I've come to a conclusion, okay? I'm officially 19 weeks pregnant and I can officially say, hand on heart, that I fully think that pregnancy is the true definition of surviving – and not thriving.'

'I don't think there's been a day in 19 weeks where I feel like I've thrived,' she added with a tired smile. 'Like it's 1:40 on a Thursday and I feel like I could go to sleep already.'

Domenica, who skyrocketed to fame during season nine of Married At First Sight, didn't shy away from sharing just how physically and emotionally taxing the experience has been.

'I don't want to see anyone, I don't want to do anything, I don't want to be social – like, don't talk to me,' she declared.

'Like for the next 20 weeks, I'm okay to be a hermit and just grow this munchkin.'

She also revealed she's been dealing with persistent back pain, even gesturing to a hot pack strapped around her waist and joking, 'This is permanently attached to me.'

'I feel like I'm f**king out of breath – Jesus,' she said, clearly exasperated.

The reality star gave her fans a glimpse into her daily routine, which currently revolves around rest, comfort, and the occasional sweet treat.

'I'm gonna go and get my Amazon package and I'm gonna come back and lay down and eat some Easter chocolate. And that's it. Thanks.'

Despite the exhaustion, Domenica appeared grounded and self-aware, even laughing at the bright lighting in her bedroom – which she's now dubbed her 'sanctuary'.
